Watch Out For Lakitu is a level in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and its remake Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. It contains Lakitus, which appear in the outside areas of this level. The level's background has green mountains with palm trees.

Overview[edit]

The player starts off in a field, just before several platforms made out of dirt. After getting past the first platform, Lakitus will start to appear and will attack the player, after this platform are several smaller ones before another large one that contains a flower and a Tulip. After this platform will be a small grassy area with a Green Shell, a Red Shell and a Shy-Guy. After the grassy area are more platforms made of dirt. On the platform is a set of steps that surround a Crate, which contains a Key. The steps can be destroyed and the Crate must be pushed onto the wooden platform to be destroyed. At the end of the platform is a locked door. In this door is a morph bubble that transforms Yoshi into the Train, which is then used to collect a Flower. To get to the next area the player needs to use a Chomp Rock to get to the door.

In the next area is the Middle Ring, just before it is a small dirt block that contains a Winged Cloud that will sprout a Beanstalk, that will lead to another Winged Cloud with an ! Switch that goes to a secret area, which contains lots of coins. After the Middle Ring is an area with lots of Lakitus, Shy-Guys, Fly Guys and Bubble Dayzees, which leads to the goal roulette.
