Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island is a prequel to Super Mario World, the fifth installment in the Super Mario series and chronologically the first in the Super Mario series. The game stars Yoshi and the Yoshi clan who travel across Yoshi’s Island while carrying Baby Mario to rescue Baby Luigi from Baby Bowser and his minions. Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, commonly known as Yoshi's Island, is a video game developed and published by Nintendo on Super Nintendo/Super Famicom in 1995. The game's composer is Koji Kondo. The game also received an enhanced port, titled Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, on Game Boy Advance in 2002.
