Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island is the in-name-only sequel (or is it a prequel?) to Super Mario World. This time, Yoshi is the star of the show, Mario is an annoying baby, and the development team was evidently into some very heavy drugs. Nevertheless, it's an excellent game, but is surprisingly difficult. The USA Kiosk Demo of Yoshi's Island DS is based off of an earlier version of the game. The build date, located in stamp.rc is dated almost three weeks before the one present in the final game. The demo itself only has three levels available to play normally, four if you count the prologue, and will return to the title screen after either a certain amount of time has passed or if Yoshi is left idle for too long. Yoshi's New Island is the first Yoshi's Island game on the Nintendo 3DS, and quite possibly the most polarizing entry in the series for a variety of reasons. The biggest disappointment is that, despite the title, it didn’t do anything 'new' to the series at all. Even the Giant Egg mechanic feels more tacked on. Kamek and his toadies are taking babies from their homes to the castle! The Yoshi clan and Baby Mario™ will need to team up again to save the day! As Yoshi crosses the lush but perilous lands of Yoshi's Island, he will also need to depend on his baby companions and their own special abilities!
After rescuing Baby Mario and Baby Luigi™ from the clutches of Kamek, it looks like the evil Magikoopa still hasn't learned his lesson. The Yoshis and Baby Mario team up again to save all of the babies that have been kidnapped. Swallow, stomp, and throw eggs at enemies in the five worlds of Yoshi's Island, while also using Yoshi's special abilities to navigate dangerous areas. Each baby companion has their own special ability to help in the adventure. But take care to not drop them for too long, or Kamek and his toadies will come to snatch them away!
